The VSP 60.60 machines belong to the category of the single-operator firewood processors: fully hydraulic and with manual controls, they are ideal for processing logs up to 600 mm in diameter. They are designed to be used in a ‘mobile’ version by the tractor power take-off, with a diesel engine, or in a stationary electric version. The cutting unit consists of a chain saw. The splitting unit consists of a double hydraulic drive log splitter with a thrust force of 20 tonnes.

VSP 60.60
The cutting system consists of a solid 2000 mm long feeding chain that conveys the material to the chain saw, which can cut diameters of up to 600 mm.
The hydraulically-operated cut-off machine produces logs of different lengths, with the last cut having a minimum length of 200 mm. The cut logs are transferred to the splitting station by a driven roller table.
The log splitter, with double manual hydraulic control and a thrust force of 20 t, consists of a curved wedge with four orbital knives that allow to obtain five billets per working cycle. The maximum splitting height is 500 mm for diameters up to 700 mm.
After splitting, the machine can be equipped with a belt to evacuate the processed material, with the possibility of unloading up to 3.3 metres.
This machine has been designed so that a single operator, alternating the cutting and splitting operations, can achieve excellent results; with two operators, productivity is even exceptional.
