The TLK is a single-operator firewood processor, introduced to the market in 2022, designed to meet the needs of producers seeking high productivity, small space requirements and low power consumption. It is a combined automatic cutting and splitting system capable of producing firewood with programmable cross-sections.

Cutting unit TL
Pezzolato designed and produced an innovative processor called TLK, with a chain cutting system and a combined horizontal splitting unit (in two different versions), able to operate in a fully automatic mode, with reduced space requirements and low power consumption.
Launched in 2022, it quickly won the favour of the Italian and the International markets, rapidly gaining positions if compared to other large machines equipped with circular blades.
The TL cutting unit can, in fact, process logs with a diameter up to 650 mm thanks to a powerful hydraulic chainsaw solution.
Splitting is alternately entrusted to two automatic solutions called KX and KV, depending on the shape of the splitting wedge, capable of producing firewood with a programmable cross-section.
This equipment is also equipped with an automatic process for the diversion of the headers or the small diameters that do not require to be split by means of an appropriate trapdoor (positioned immediately after splitting). It has reduced energy absorption (depending on the type of splitting station 52 kW or 60 kW) and a cycle time that is automatically optimised in relation to the size to be produced.
A solution that arouses great interest in the market, since it guarantees high productivity with a single operator.
Splitting station KX 650
The K650 splitting station is equipped with a PLC control as standard, so that it can always work in automatic mode. The log section can be electronically adjusted with a minimum size of 20x20mm.
The mobile splitting wedge allows the log to be split against a fixed barrier and to process logs of variable lengths from 200 to 500 mm, with automatic stroke adjustment and consequent reduction of cycle time.
Last but not least, the shock absorbed feed chain under the log splitter is made of steel to better withstand the wear and tear and stress generated by the splitting operations.
The machine has a centralised automatic lubrication, which facilitates the routine maintenance. The splitting unit is driven by a 22 kW electric motor.
Splitting station KV 700
The KV 700 splitting unit has two independent, mobile splitting wedges positioned in a ‘V’ shape, which enable it to process logs from 150 to 500 mm in length. The unit is powered by a 30 kW electric motor and each wedge has a thrust force of 16 tonnes. The section of the split logs can be electronically adjusted and, thanks to the presence of a specific optional arm, it is possible to quickly convert the production of firewood into firelighters with a minimum section of 20 x 20 mm.
Another distinguishing feature of the KV 700: the log splitter feeding conveyor is made of steel, in order to better resist wear and tear.
