The PROFESSIONAL series disc machines are the technological result of a journey that began in the 1980s, when Pezzolato built the first industrial plants for large-scale firewood production. They are processors designed to process mixed wood bundles with non-homogeneous diameters and lengths, guaranteeing, in automatic or manual mode and with reduced floor space requirements, high productivity of high quality firewood and minimum waste.

PROFESSIONAL 1
From the control panel, the operator operates the log loader, sets the cutting length and can choose whether to operate the machine in manual or automatic mode.
The PROFESSIONAL 1, with its ‘in-line’ configuration, can process logs up to 3400 mm long. Cutting is performed by means of a disc with 1000 or 1100 mm diameter carbide teeth, which allows logs with a diameter of up to 400-440 mm to be processed.
After the cut, the logs can fall onto the closed-mesh ‘S’ belt that collects them and acts as a buffer, transporting the material in front of the log splitter with a 2+4+6-way vertical grid where the operator performs the splitting of the larger pieces.
Two operators ensure maximum productivity of the plant. A single operator, however, alternating the splitting operation with the cutting operation, achieves appreciable results.
Drive can be via electric motor with a power rating of 30 kW or via the tractor’s power take-off with a minimum power rating of 80 Hp.
All Pezzolato machines are equipped with the safety devices provided for by the regulations, and allow wood to be processed efficiently, reliably and safely, guaranteeing high productivity.
